ITSM is my passion from the time I started my professional career. I was working in different polish and International IT service companies. I have ITSM business management experience.
In 1999 I established training and consulting company which became ITSM leader in Poland. I was strongly promoting ITIL/ITSM, speaking on conferences and seminars, writing articles in local magazines. I am ITIL Expert.
I was one of the founders and Board members of itSMF Poland chapter. Now I am chapter chairman.
I was the reviewer of ITIL 2011 edition (Official Introduction Book) and representing Poland in itSMF Publications area as IPESC member.
In June 2012, just after publications meeting I organized in Warsaw, I was asked by IEB to join the Board as Publications Director. I agreed because I am sure that converting content into valuable publications in different forms and formats is key itSMF service.
I believe that my passion to publications, to open new publications areas and all my business and commercial background are the right combination to manage publications portfolio across all the chapters.
I can also declare that after I retired from CEO position in January 2012 I have time I can dedicate for itSMF community.

Professionally, the majority of my career has been devoted to the betterment of delivering IT
Services to the market. The privilege of managing a team came relatively early and has
occupied my activities throughout my working career.
For eleven years prior to founding Digiterra, I have either being consulting in Service
Management or managing an internal team to deliver better services. With a rich history of IT
experience. My qualifications include: Gartner Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Engineer; HP
Certified Professional; BMC Software Certified Professional and ITIL v3 Certified.
Personally, I have been involved in providing executive and operational consultancy in Data
Centre Management, IT Operations, Outsourcing and Business Service Management since
1998.
My tertiary qualification is in Company Administration and Financial Management. For the
past 6 years, I have been the CEO of Digiterra, an IT research and advisory based
organisation. Recently in partnership with the itSMFsa, Digiterra launched the SMPI (Service
Management Proficiency Index) which is now regarded as the national maturity and
capability index for Service Management in South Africa.
I am also a member of various professional associations, namely ISACA and the itSMFsa
where I serve as Financial Director. My involvement within the itSMFsa has included
financial, content and events management.
