I am interested in advancing my career in IT Service Management.

Interested in ITSM and willing to learn.

I am an information systems faculty at the Lagos Business School, Lagos - Nigeria. I am particularly interested in the advancement of service management practices in Nigerian organisations.

Uche Okotie graduated with a 2nd class honors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri-Imo State Nigeria(in 2004). She has over six years experience in the Telecoms industry.She has worked as a Network Operations Engineer (Team lead 2nd level support) and currently is a Service Manager in Vodacom Business Nigeria. My primary responsibility is ensuring that the company’s key customers as assigned receive the expected service, where performance is based on the customer’s perception of the level of service delivered.The company i work for provides Enterprise and connectivity solutions for corporate clients in Nigeria and across Pan-Africa. My job functions also requires me to hold regular meetings with these clients which is necessary to build relationships,initiating service improvements,incident and escalation management,Business continuity management,service portfolio management,product management to mention but a few.. I am a member of ITSM with ITILv3 foundation certification and also a Six-Sigma Gree Belter.I am currently doing my MBA program at the prestigious Lagos Business School -Nigeria.
