Product Manager for Virtualization Platforms

I've been in high technology roles for over 20 years, mostly as a project, product, and program manager. I began my career with an ISD working on risk management and decision support tools for traders of stocks, commodities, currencies and derivatives. From there I spent time with a major telecom company as a Global Account Manager for a large Japan-based electronics and entertainment company. It was there that I learned about global networks and the potential for network-based applications. Next I worked for two managed services companies running the product management and development teams. My charter at both companies was to lead the development of industry-leading services for both Windows and UNIX O/S-based applications, including .NET and J2EE n-tier architecture, high availability database servers, and clustered middleware, among others.I spent a few years at a Redmond, WA-based software company on what came to be known as Software + Services. I'm now with Unisys in Reston, VA, where I specialize in data center transformation for customers from the Federal civilian sector of the U.S. Government. This work includes ITSM, enterprise virtualization, and cloud computing.
