The International Executive Board (IEB) quarterly meeting update

The International Executive Board (IEB) met in January in Australia for our recent quarterly board meeting and included within this communication are some key highlights of the output of that meeting.

itSMF International 2012 AGM Election voting

The 2012 itSMF International AGM will take place in Stockholm, hosted by itSMF Sweden, just before their Conference.

There are currently four Director Positions which shall become available for the itSMF International Executive Board (IEB).

The four Candidates who poll the highest numbers of votes will be submitted to the Full Chapter Board at the AGM on Sunday 21st October, in Stockholm, with the recommendation that they be appointed as Directors of the company.

They will, if ratified, take their positions from 1st January 2013 for a term of 2 years.

New International Executive Board (IEB) Board announces new Chair and Portfolio holders for 2012

Following the AGM and Chapter meeting in Washington in 2011 and a handover meeting last week the International Executive Board (IEB) has now appointed Marianna Billington as their chair for the coming year.

Marianna spent the last year as the IEB's vice-chair and has also held the publications portfolio for the last 2 years.

itSMF International is pleased to announce the winner of the 2011 Whitepaper Competition

itSMF International is pleased to announce the winner of the 2011 Whitepaper Competition. This year's event was won by Peter Brooks from itSMF South Africa with a paper entitled "Business Analysis and Service Management - How BABOK complements ITIL"

The entries this year were of a very high standard and I would like to thank our judging panel for the efforts made to select the winning paper.

Peter has received an iPad2 for his efforts. The paper is available here for download.
