SFIA Conference - 2nd December 2009 - London, UK

Theme: "Economy of effort" – making better use of staff in challenging times
When: 2nd December 2009
Where: The BIS Conference Centre, Victoria Street, London

This year's conference from SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) will focus on just how to get the most from the most important resource your organisation has - its people.

The event will focus on the ways in which organisations utilise SFIA and other frameworks to deliver more for less - in an environment that is ever changing. This year's keynote speaker will be Matthew Poyiadgi, Vice-President at CompTIA who will be talking about Technology and change - and particularly looking at the skills that are required within this area. The packed agenda also sees Angela Smith, the Minister for the Third Sector look at why SFIA is important for Government alongside Ben Grinell, IT Director at the UK Border Agency delving into IT Skills at the frontiers.

Last year's conference once again was the biggest ever with in excess of 250 delegates and this year is already shaping up to be a sell out once again - ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

This year will also see an expanded exhibition area as more of the SFIA partners look to help the wider community.

The Conference will take place on 2nd December at The BIS Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London.
